I’ve so had it with Mark the Station Manager stepping in and cutting them off all the time. What’s his problem? Why are they so afraid of offending people all of a sudden? The whole point of the show is that it’s edgy. It’s just going to stagnate if Martin keeps being reined in and censored. Thoughts? Every good contest they want to have gets killed. Like that one where fans kidnap homeless people and drive them out to the desert and if they make it back you win a gift certificate to Al Dente’s

Yeah, I hate the suits messing with the creative process. Martin Serious should never be stifled! What’s wrong with Smithy licking a 70-year-old woman or giving retards ecstacy? That’s what I want I want to hear about on my way to work.

Don’t you realize that this is just another ploy to make their shows seem fresh, edgy and counter-cultural rather than a bunch of tired, clichéd stunts that have been done a hundred times before? The Martin Serious show used to be about crossing the line. Now all they do is tiptoe behind the line. It lost its edge years ago. All they care about now is avoiding lawsuits. And Martin is out the door at 12:05 – he used to do 6 ½ hours of radio, lazy bastard
